So...it has come to this! Ever since Gracie was born, I have had people ask me, "How old is HE?" and "What is HIS name?" However, earlier this week in an attempt to check out of the grocery store, the older gentleman behind us in line told me, "You Sure Have a Fine Looking Boy There!" Smiling and mumbling under my breath, "Can't you see she is wearing a pink onesie and pink sweatpants sir?"....Gracie and I headed out the door; but not before picking up one last purchase - This Onesie!

That being said, people are silly. Lauren was ALWAYS a boy too. It didn't matter that there was a bow in her hair or she was wearing everY shade of pastel girlie colors under the sun. I never understood it. Sorry to tell you that. But I DO love her shirt! Maybe that will help.

Ha Ha! I love that onesie! You are sweet to not say anything to people. I would most likely start firing back at people and saying things like that out loud like Since when did baby boys wear bows and pink outfits?! And why don't you take a better look and tell me how beautiful my little GIRL is?! Some poeple are so clueless. Gracie is so beautiful!
Oh my gosh, WE NEED THAT ONESIE!!! We get that ALLLLLL the time for Bridget from the old people here in Arizona. I convinced myself it is because they must be losing their sight and can't see the bright pink or purple outfits or giant bows she's wearing!
That is great. Now you just need to teach her how to snap "Oh no you didn't!"

K- so honestly my FIRST thought after reading just the title was "Gracie's announcing she's gonna be a big sis!"...THAT exact thing happened to my Bro and his wife when their baby was 5or6 months old. And that's how they announced it and everything. Guess I should read on before jumping to conclusions!:) I'm such a nerd!

Excuse my language when I say "People are such idiots". Ha! How can they mistake Gracie for a little boy. It's even worse in Europe. People put their little boys in bright pink clothes. Then get mad when assumptions are made for being a girl. You on the other hand do not dress her in boy clothes. Ha!
She is so cute! I think it's so funny how people just don't pay attention. And if there's ever a doubt, just say baby!
I thought that what Gracie wanted to tell everyone is that her mom was going to have another baby!!! I was a little disappointed! =-) That is so sad, we had that happen all the time with Mallory too. You want to say so bad, "do you see the PINK?" She just keeps getting cuter and cuter each day. What a doll face! We are looking forward to seeing you guys!!
