On Friday, May 16th - Jody, Gracie, My parents, Michael, Aunt LaMae, my Cousin Nichole and her little boy Izaac and my Cousin Michelle and her two boys Josh and Caden all decided to do some "Monkeying Around" and hit the Hogle Zoo. My Aunt LaMae kept joking that there are really NO animals at the Hogle Zoo. And now (as I'm finally posting these pictures)...I see I don't have a single one with an actual animal in it. (Although, that could be argued...some of the people look a little wild in these pictures!) You will have to watch the video to see some REAL animals!
What was my favorite part of the zoo? Watching Gracie anxiously look around and take in all the new sounds and sights, chasing after my mom as she almost rolled into the Giraffe exhibit in her wheelchair, watching Izaac attempt to throw his hat to the Giraffes for a snack, the 20-second Train Ride...or spending time with extended family?! They were all fun and wonderful memories!

Looks like you guys had a great time at the zoo, I can't wait until it's warm again (been raining alot)to take McKenna there. She already loves animals so much.
So why is your mom in a wheelchair?? Is she okay? I hope so.
Looks like you guys had a lot of fun at the zoo. We are going the end of July. I can't wait I think it will fun! The girls haven't been to the zoo yet.
Emilee - my mom is hanging in there. She's been having terrible hip pain. It's made it nearly impossible for her to walk. She's having an MRI this upcoming week...so hopefully they can detect the problem after that.

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were able to spend with you while you were down here. We miss all of you so much. Thanks for taking video and pictures and then posting them so that we can all enjoy and reflect on our memories. Love Mom

We're zoo addicts (we even pick vacation destinations by proximity to zoos), and we've had the same problem with zoo pictures. I find we either get all people or all animals. Way cute pictures though :)
