I Want To GLOW!

We've all witnessed it...a darling pregnant woman walks into a room, when someone exclaims, "Look at You - You're Just Glowing!"

And She Is.

I Want To Glow.

I'm glowing on the inside. I just think there are other pregnancy-related dominant physical factors that are smothering my potential radiation. The acne that hasn't gone away in four months, the outbreak of cold sores, frizzy hair, dark circles under my eyes, not to mention that some days Gracie and I are hiding in the house when someone rings the doorbell at 3:00 in the afternoon...because we are still in our JAMMIES.
(Yeah, that's definitely not helping me to GLOW.) :)

I heard the baby's heartbeat again yesterday. AMAZING.

And I felt like I was glowing.

In fact, it's the Best Feeling in the World! It's a sound I will never get tired of hearing. 153 was the heart rate number. It will be so exciting to take another peek at the baby next month at the 20-week ultrasound. Can't wait!

What a beautiful family picture at the top. And what a great post. You're so funny :) It's hard to imagine that you could be any less than still gorgeous, because you are one of the most gorgeous people I have ever met from the inside. You make everyone else around you shine, and that can only come from a darling bright person. So excited for you!!! Looking forward to hearing if it's a boy or girl.

Brit I'm pretty sure you are glowing no matter the other pregnancy "joys". I can't wait to hear if you are having a boy or girl.

Ugh! That's how I felt, too. But people told me I looked great, although I didn't feel that way and I'm sure the same holds true for you!

Heartbeat-amazing that something so little has a heartbeat. The size of a grain of rice has a beating heart. When I first heard Ms. R's heartbeat, I was hooked and couldn't believe someone wouldn't choose life after hearing the heartbeat.

I can't imagine you without a glow! You are beautiful. And I've learned with Lily there are more important things to do than change out of pj's - cuddle, sing, dance, etc :)

I'm giggling at hiding from the doorbell. I have totally done that. A lot. "Quiet, kids! Don't move!"

Sometimes it's because of the jammies, sometimes the terrible shape of the house, and sometimes because I'm sure it's the Jehovah's Witnesses!

What a cute post! I always say I have the "Pregnancy Grease" not "Pregnancy Glow" because I break out and and look awful. I bet you look darling. Don't be to hard on yourself.
