Disney Cruise - Castaway Cay

March 2014
Disney's Private Island, Castaway Cay, is gorgeous.  There is so much to do.  We spent just one day here, but easily could have spent many more.  The water is an unbelievable sea-green color, with white sand to compliment it.  We had a great time on the beach and enjoyed a super yummy lunch on the island.  There were water slides out in the bay.  The only way to get there was to swim out to the slides.    The adventurous ones decided to bike around the beautiful island.  I opted to not attempt to balance my pregnant body on a two-wheel.  While waiting for the others to get back....I was getting so hot.  So Papa Tait and I swam out to the slides.  It was super refreshing!

A kiss for Goofy to start off the morning...

Jody and Jeff didn't take a vacation from the workout routine.  They did some burpees on the beach.

How many cousins can fit on one inner-tube?!?!

That night, we ate at the Animator's Palate; a darling restaurant.  When we arrived, everything - the waiter's clothes, the walls and tablecloths were all Black and White.  By the end of our evening, with a special visit from Mickey Mouse, everything turned to vibrant colors.  Very Fun!

What a treat to go on my (and the girl's) FIRST cruise.  We made some great memories with the ENTIRE Tait Family.  The girls were in heaven - playing with their cousins!

Time to go to sleep ladies....you have to wake up soooooo early to get off the ship!
